Clients who have found your company through the website are asked to nominate you if they have had a particularly good experience. We try and feature a different category each month.

Plastic Sandwich have been putting together portfolios for photographers and art directors since the early seventies. Founded and still run by Joyce Pinto with 22 years dedicated service by Rob Jacobs. Between us we have unparalleled experience in this field. We have clients all over the world, in fact wherever there is a photographic industry.
Amongst our clients are the household names and stars of the industry. Equally valued are their assistants and students who find the advice we can offer of great help.
Our service is also utilised by companies such as Event Organisers, PR organisations and anyone whose activities or craft are best shown through the presentation of images.
Our books are made from a single piece of high quality leather and offer a new approach to conventional bookbinding. This classy and simple structure throws the emphasis directly onto your images without distraction and adds a great tactile quality. Your name is embossed in either our house lettering or a block can be made from your own logo.
Orders are completed usually within a few days to any size or format in a choice of colours. We make our own superb quality pages but can also offer alternative ways of putting in prints Please call us if you wish to discuss this
For this type of presentation we use the highest quality laminating film available. Prior to lamination preparation is very important and prints or proofs are drymounted to the best suited boards. A lens cloth is added to the back of the laminate to prevent any scratching.
There is no restriction on size up to the largest. We are experienced in complex layouts for which there would be an added hourly rate of £40
Mini books are a great way to tidy up oversized published work. We now have a digital copying set-up and the results are excellent. Clients can also supply their own prints. This has been a popular service with 'creatives' who are often burdened with A2 or bigger portfolios.
A standard book is based on a 10x8 page, laminated, cloth backed and comb bound with polypropylene covers. Our leather books also work well in this size with a binding edge added to the laminate. Although the 10x8 has been a standard there is no size restriction and larger versions are available.
