Every month we try to feature a profile of a design student and showcase a project they have worked on to promote up and coming undergraduates starting out in the creative industry. If you would like to enter, all you have to do is send us an e-mail describing in no more that 200 words why you would like to be considered, a photograph of yourself and a PDF of a recent project.
We are always amazed at the quality of undergraduate design and will be delighted to promote your work to the thousands of viewers who visit the site daily. If your entry is successful it will be uploaded on the first date of the following month.
Hi. I'm Luke Williams, a 19 year old student at the University of Kent, Canterbury. I've been building websites for the past 6 years, and following my gap year work with the lovely chaps at Active Webdezign, I'm now a pretty competent web developer.
When I'm not making websites, I tend to be out socialising (being a student) or hurling my significant bulk around as a flanker for a number of rugby teams. Sometimes I study too.

What I Do
I'm currently working freelance for a few agencies, as well as working on a few on my own projects. I'm studying full-time so my availabilty is limited, but that hasn't stopped me building a wealth of skills and experience:

Work: Active Webdezign v3
One of my last projects whilst working at Active Webdezign was to build the CMS for the new version of their website. This involved building a system similar to this site, including a complex paging system, and using the Wordpress 'posts' feature as both acutal blog posts and portfolio entries.
